Our client is a growing technology company seeking a mid-level (4yrs+) commercial contracts lawyer to join their legal team in West London as Legal Counsel. You will report to the General Counsel and work alongside a Senior Counsel and two more junior lawyers.
The company is focused on the development and supply of specialist software and related services including platform software underpinning leading businesses.
You should have solid experience advising on/negotiating commercial contracts and be used to managing a busy caseload. Prior technology, software or licensing experience would be an advantage but our client is flexible and it is the core contractual skills, personal qualities and interest in technology that are critical.
Responsibilities will include:
- Advising on, and negotiating software licence, development and support agreements; and partner integration, revenue share and third party content/brand licence agreements
- Contract/template management
- Providing legal counsel on day to day/ad hoc legal queries
- Supporting bids for new business
- Supporting on Compliance and Governance matters.
You should be a down-to-earth, flexible individual who is a good team player and will ideally be a UK qualified lawyer or be in the process of re-qualifying here.
