Commercial Property Lawyer (Part Time)

A local authority team in Northamptonshire is seeking to add a part time Commercial Property Lawyer to their team for a minimum of 3 months.

The client is ideally looking for a candidate who would be comfortable managing a wide range of property matters over 2 or 3 days a week.

Duties for this role include:

• Manging all Right to Buy and Shared Ownership Applications
• Dealing with property related queries from members of the public and other Officers
• Providing specialised legal advice in respect of commercial conveyancing and landlord & tenant matters
• Completing conveyancing and landlord & tenant related statutory agreements, notices and orders
• Negotiating and drafting leases, transfers, easements, licences and other documentation associated with the purchase, sale or letting of land
• Managing the voluntary first registration of all the unregistered land owned the Council
• Undertaking various administrative duties such as maintaining the deeds register and invoice processing

An hourly rate of £35 -£40 per hour is offered for this position.
