The Case Manager's primary function is the management and progression of a varied Fitness to Practise caseloads within the Healthcare investigation process.
The duties that the Case Manager will undertake will include act as the primary contact for relevant internal and external enquiries and briefings relating to a case load, including handling options and instructing solicitors.
The case manager will maintain and review electronic systems and databases to record cases handled by the Fitness to Practise Department, making sure information is kept up to date, accurate and accessible in line with Data Protection Policy.
The Case manager will provide managers and the Director with up to date information about cases as required.
It is essential that applicants be educated to degree level and/or relevant knowledge and understanding. Applicants should also strong analytical, critical examination and report writing skills.
Willingness to travel throughout the UK, this role will involve overnight stays as required.
The applicants should have previous experience in Regulations and legislation, and following procedures, including the ability to interpret and learn legislation where necessary.
