An excellent opportunity has arisen for a fully qualified General Counsel (Group Company) to join a group company of one of the world's leading oil companies. The company runs through a network of fully integrated subsidiaries, with substantial business interests in upstream and downstream activities, including transportation, shipping, marketing and distribution.
You would be responsible for all legal affairs of the company, advising on a broad range of product sales, marketing, corporate, joint venture, projects, procurement, construction and commercial matters in the energy sector.
Essential Skills / Requirements
- Must have at least 10+PQE
- Must have trained and worked in a top international law firm
- Must have construction or projects experience
- Relevant in-house experience would be ideal
- Must have understanding of the oil and gas sector
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- Must have excellent written and spoken 'Legal' English
- Must be fluent in Arabic
- Ideally have regional experience.
