A niche commercial firm based in Nottingham currently have a vacancy for a commercial litigation solicitor to join its highly regarded practice where quality of work is combined with a great work environment. The firm itself has been long established and has an exceptional staff retention rate along with a strong client base that means that the firm's solicitors have a quality caseload to work on.
The role
You will join the small but long established commercial litigation department. The team is highly regarded in the East Midlands and it is an opportunity for the successful candidate to join this team and make a real name for themselves.
Your caseload will be made up of a broad range of litigation, this will include specialising in property disputes and contract disputes but will also be broad ranging and the firm need a solicitor who they can provide a full caseload to and give you the ability to manage this personally.
The candidate
The firm hasn't place a PQE range for this role and the firm are happy to consider applications from a range of PQE levels. The ideal candidate however needs to be experienced in commercial litigation matters and preferably be well versed in a range of litigation in commercial law.
The candidate needs to be proactive, having the ability to work unsupervised as a senior commercial litigator within the department.
Having the ability to develop business is preferable, the department is busy though and there is a caseload for the successful candidate to pick up from the start.
