Senior Legal Counsel – IT & Commercial

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT and Commercial Lawyer within a household known business based in Central London. Sitting within an award winning Legal department and reporting into the Head of Legal you shall be required to provide legal advice to the IT and procurement teams. The primary focus of this role will be to provide Legal support on a number of strategic IT Projects however you shall also be required to provide support on general commercial matters.

This is a Senior appointment within the team and therefore the successful candidate will have previous experience of working in a senior in-house legal role supporting the business on all legal aspects arising from a number of IT strategic projects. Candidates will need experience advising on and negotiating IT framework agreements and outsourcing deals preferably from either the retail, financial and/or public sectors. As there will be interaction with the procurement teams Ideal candidates will also have knowledge of public procurement regulations.
