This global financial services institution is a pioneer and leader of its market. As a result of continued business growth and acquisition, the UK legal team, which looks after the management of legal risk in corporate and commercial transactions, is looking to hire an additional lawyer to the team to take the lead on procurement matters.

Candidates sought could have either a corporate / commercial, procurement or IT background with a leading law firm or financial services organisation, and will have ideally advised businesses on legal and regulatory matters. Financial services experience is desired but is not essential if you are an excellent procurement lawyer who wishes to move into financial services. As well as excellent technical skills and high academic achievement, they will possess the commercial skills necessary to transition to an in-house role.

This will be an excellent first or next move in-house, with genuine career progression opportunities and is a varied and broad role. This could also be a good opportunity for a corporate lawyer, who wants to transition into a wider in-house commercial role.

In return for your efforts, you will be exposed to the highest quality of work within a legal team that nurtures and supports the career development of its lawyers. Compensation, comprising base salary and discretionary bonus will be highly attractive.
