Our client, a fantastic Local Authority based in the North West of England is currently seeking a Commercial Property Lawyer to start immediately.

The role is for an initial three month contract with a high possibility of an extension.

If your application is successful, you will be expected to carry a full and extensive caseload which will involve the following:

  • providing advice and have conduct of legal files relating to commercial property work and some residential matters,
  • conduct a range of transactional work, including leases, purchases, sales and commercial property management work,
  •  support corporate projects and advise on property issues as part of the project team and
  • advise senior officers within the practice’s local authority clients.

It is essential that you have previous public sector experience and can hit the ground running.

Due to the urgency of the role it will be advantageous that you are available on a notice period of two weeks or less and can perform well under pressure.
