Our client, major City law firm, whose financial services advisory practice receives praise in the main legal directories and punches above its weight, is looking for an additional financial services associate, preferably with at least 1 year's PQE. This team provides advice to a diverse range of clients including the major banks, private banks and wealth managers, investment firms and intermediaries. The new associate will work alongside all the partners in the group to gain a broad range of financial services experience, and will be encouraged to play an active role in helping to grow the practice. In fact the role includes a high level of client contact and the partners are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to forge strong client relationships. Candidates will have experience within another highly regarded City or major regional practice, and will have gained a thorough knowledge of FSMA, the FSA Handbook and relevant EU developments.
