Associate/Senior Associate - Private Wealth

Due to significant growth and client demand, my client is actively recruiting a Associate / Senior Associate for our expanding International Private Wealth team. The team is based in their Bristol office but advises clients throughout the UK and internationally.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to work on complex matters for UHNW and HNW clients but to also be part of growing this relatively new service line for the firm. The candidate will also be able to progress their career in a supportive environment.

The work of the team involves advising individuals on the UK tax implications of being UK resident and of owning assets in the UK, looking at residence and domicile issues, pre-residence and remittance planning and advising on the UK taxation of offshore trusts and companies. The team also advises international financial institutions and global trust companies on international tax and trusts matters, including the preparation of standard trust documents worldwide.

My client is looking for talented individuals, with a track record of working at a City firm or a highly regarded My international or regional practice, with a sound reputation and a particular enthusiasm for tax planning matters. You will be highly motivated to work as part of this highly entrepreneurial, fast growing team.

You will be able to demonstrate proven technical knowledge - a sound understanding and practical application of the law and transaction process, commercial awareness and focus, an ability and interest in thinking 'outside the box', excellent drafting and communication skills, strong analytical and project management skills and a strong inter-personal skills, including being a team player with the ability to work independently if required.
