Top in-house role - Lending - Senior Legal Counsel - Tier 1 Investment Bank

My client is a tier 1 bank looking to hire a Senior Legal Counsel into their Commercial banking team on a permanent basis.

The role will include providing legal support on Commercial Banking businesses and projects. There will be particular focus on large corporate and cross-border lending matters. Work will also include supporting the Commercial bank in regard to legal risks with an emphasis on corporate lending and the commercial banking cards business. Projects expected are to lead the commercial banks contingency plans or Brexit and Ringfencing. 

A strong candidate will have at least 5 years post qualification experience, and the relevant experience from working in a reputable law firm or major financial institution. In-house experience of leverage and acquisition finance with the mid-market a major bonus.
