Our client is a well-established and regarded practice with a network of offices in the Thames Valley which has undergone a sustained period of expansion in recent times. With more than 50 dedicated lawyers, they offer a wide range of services to business and personal clients both locally and further afield. They endeavour to provide innovative, expert advice in an efficient manner, with consistently high standards of communication.  Due to sustained growth they are now looking to add to their team.

The Role
We are now seeking an additional Family Solicitor to join our clients’ flourishing practice in the Banbury area. Becoming part of a growing department, with a presence in all offices, the successful Solicitor will manage a varied caseload of Family matters, acting for a range of clients including HNW, with multi-jurisdictional elements. The caseload will consist of: divorce; cohabitation issues; pre and post-nuptial agreements; financial remedy; Children Act matters and; separation. The ideal Solicitor will have additional expertise in another practice area and participate in business development to assist in the further growth and success of the department and firm as a whole.

The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years’ PQE gained within a well-regarded Matrimonial department.
You must have excellent technical and client care skills.
You will be a skilled negotiator, committed to the provision of ADR methods with the additional ability to undertake advocacy where necessary.
Applications are also sought from those with the ability to undertake work in other practice areas, although this is not essential.
Prior involvement in business development activities would be advantageous.
You will be a team player and able to manage a full caseload with minimal supervision.
