In House Counsel

Your new company

A global talent solutions organisation serving an impressive client list across more than 50 countries. Currently seeking an experienced In House Counsel to provide maternity cover, supporting the business and its subsidiaries in all legal matters. The contract will initially run for 12 months with scope to working on either a full-time or part-time 4 days per week basis.

Your new role

Reporting to Head of Legal who is currently based in Europe, you will head up the UK legal function in negotiating sales agreements with customers in the UK, Europe and Asia. You will review and draft various contracts with sales partners and distributors. As part of this generalist role, you will also manage the trademark and domain portfolio of the business, advising senior stakeholders across the business and external counsel as and when required.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a qualified Lawyer with 4+ years professional experience and specific expertise in IT law. Knowledge of IP and trademark related matters is desirable and German language would be advantageous. Previous in house experience is also not essential. You will demonstrate the ability to provide pragmatic and innovative legal advice to back up commercial objectives and protect company reputation. In addition, you will possess strong technical skills, the capacity to build relationships and thrive in a collegiate and down to earth working environment.
