Top Tier Corporate Practice – 2-5 PQE Lawyer –Wall Street Firm – Hong Kong

Our client, a top-tier Wall Street firm, renowned for its HK M&A and IPO capabilities, are in the market for a 2-5 PQE lawyer for its HK office. This is a great opportunity to be part of a top-tier practice under several prestigious partners in a role focused on cross-border M&A, HK capital markets work, with minor amounts of work in general corporate too.  

The role will be focused on HK M&A transactions (PE, JV, Private, and Public) with aspects of the position focusing on general corporate and capital markets. You will be working with top blue-chip clients in Hong Kong, China, and New York including leading international investment banks, Hong Kong-listed companies, large conglomerates, and corporates across the APAC region. This is a premiere position with a growing practice – the work flow is steady and the firm needs a strong lawyer to contribute to the team. Remuneration packages will be Cravath rates + competitive bonus.

Role requirements:

• 2-5 PQE;
• Common law (UK/HK/SG/AUS/etc.) qualification is necessary;
• Native in Chinese (Mandarin) and fluency in English is required;
• Top-tier firm history;
• Relevant qualifications (JD/LLM/LLB/PCLL/LPC) from top Law School is a must;
• Must have previous experience in cross-border M&A transactions.
