Competition and EU Associate Solicitor

I am now recruiting for a fantastic opportunity for an Associate Solicitor to join a Top 50, International firm at their office in Central London.  The salary and benefits package is competitive and negotiable dependent on experience.

This heavyweight firm acts on behalf of national and international clients across many sectors including retail, energy, commercial development and environmental.  Their Competition and EU Trade team in London works across all areas of Competition law but with a focus on merger control and also, works in conjunction with other non-UK offices.  They have recently added a new Partner to the team who joined from a Magic Circle firm and so you will be working alongside some of the best in Competition Law. 

Joining this market-leading team you will be working alongside some of the best handling high quality and high-profile work.  They are looking to build on their recent success with the addition of a further Associate Solicitor.

The successful candidate will advise and support the Partners on merger control matters as well as handling your own caseload.  You will be involved in business development supporting the continued growth and success of the team.  It is essential that you have strong drafting skills, commercial awareness and the ability to maintain and develop client relationships.

Applications are invited from ambitious Competition Associates with around 1 – 6 years PQE.  You should have a proven track record working on complex, high value Competition matters and a strong academic record.
