EL / PL Solicitor

My client is looking to attract a EL/PL solicitor to join one of the strongest EL/PL departments in the country.

The role of a solicitor in the casualty department will involve handling your own caseload of fast track and multi track EL/PL cases on behalf of some of the firms key clients. It will involve handling these cases from instruction to finish and will include interviewing clients and witnesses, attending conferences, applications and trails as well as instructing experts and resolving issues. This role is based within an experienced team and it will provide the opportunity to gain exposure in the large loss area of casualty work.

I am keen to hear from candidates who share the firms values of team work, courage and focus along with previous experience of handling an EL/PL caseload. A high standard of verbal and numerical reasoning and the ability to analyse, evaluate and communicate information logically is key. Defendant personal injury experience is preferred, but we are happy to consider applicants with claimant experience and the aptitude, drive and determination to work at cutting edge of defence litigation.
