Conveyancing Secretary, County Down, Legal

Your new company

A reputable, local legal firm with clients across Northern Ireland are now recruiting a motivated conveyancing secretary on a permanent basis to join their busy office based in County Down.

Your new role

Your new role will involve the provision of Legal Secretarial Services to the practice by providing competent and efficient Legal Secretarial duties.

You will be required to:
- Assist conveyancers in the production and maintenance of files
- Answer calls and take messages where necessary
- Ensure clients are dealt with politely and efficiently
- Assist conveyancers in the management of case-load by dealing with file related queries either face to face or by telephone.
- Manage own work allocation, productivity and quality of work with minimum supervision
- Ensure that all internal methods, systems, policies and procedures are adhered to.


What you'll need to succeed

- Experience in conveyancing is required
- Be computer literate with good keyboard skills and a working knowledge of using software packages
- Have recent practical experience of using word processing packages (preferably Microsoft Word)
- Recent practical experience of audio typing
- Practical experience of dealing with client enquiries
