My client, an international FMCG company is looking for a Commercial Lawyer to join their team for a long term contract.
Role Responsibilities:
- Negotiating high-value complex agreements with affiliated and external clients on a global basis
- Engage and support the legal and procurement teams
- Assess risks associated with client matters and advise the business on ad-hoc queries
- Working with legal and compliance teams on a global basis on cross-jurisdictional legal issues such as data protection
- Supporting on compliance issues including Anti Bribery and Corruption
- Supporting on marketing and advertising work
- Dealing with queries relating to compliance
Candidates of interest will be:
- Degree educated and qualified lawyer
- Qualified lawyers coming from a private practice background, ideally with in-house experience
- Depth of commercial experience, particularly working in-house for a company in a variety of sectors
- Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements, especially cross-jurisdictional and high-value agreements
- Ability to build strong relationships with members of the business
- Experience working across international jurisdictions
