Legal Director

My client, a global pharma company is looking for a mid - senior level commercial lawyer for a maternity cover contract. 6+ PQE is the suggested level, but this is not a requirement. This role will report to the General Counsel and will cover a European remit.

Duties will Include:

• Drafting and negotiating customer contracts, supplier contracts, finance leases, software licences, letters of indemnity
• Providing legal support to affiliates in EMEA
• Advising senior management on legal and compliance
• Product launches, pricing and market access, and providing general contractual support
• Handling compliance issues including competition, anti-bribery and data protection matters
• Handling ad-hoc litigation matters as they arise
• Advising the business on various legal queries as they arise

Candidates of interest will be:

• Qualified lawyers - in-house trained solicitors welcome, pharma experience is required
• Experienced contractors, or those in permanent roles interested to move into a contracting career
• Varied general commercial contracts drafting and negotiating experience
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders
