Ideally you'll be a child panel member with good links or a recognisable presence in the Birmingham market. Or you will be close to becoming a child panel member and interested in getting the full qualification.

The majority of the work is guardian side work over parent side work but plentiful supplies of both roles come into the firm.

On offer is a salary which will be highly competitive together with other perks and benefits, such as bonus scheme, option to purchase shares and much more.

The work is plentiful and rather than the firm passing work to counsel an experienced advcoate is required to handle files all the way through.

Dealing predominently with care and guardianship issues you'll be a panel member and a childcare specialist with supervisory capabilities.

You will be preparing and applying emergency orders, attending court and other appointments, drafting court orders, preparing instructions for counsel.
