A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a renowned British Charity. They are seeking a lawyer with a charity background to enter their legal team as a Legal Advisor and Legacy Officer on a part-time basis.
You will liaise with various teams throughout the charity. Responsibilities will include reviewing all commercial and property contracts within the organisation, investigating charitable bequests, liaising with external legal advisors, as well as advising on range of ad hoc commercial issues.
To be successful you must have experience working in a charity or you must have dealt extensively with charities in a private client team within a law firm. You must be comfortable dealing with a wide range of different teams within the organisation.
You will have the ability to manage multiple programs of work and proactively identify potential issues and commercial benefits. You must be able to work both autonomously and collectively, think strategically and creatively and communicate clearly and precisely. This is a great opportunity for someone with an interest in working for a historic charity in hugely varied role.
