Our client is a Legal 500 Real Estate and Projects practice with over 150 years’ experience making them a leading practice City law firm.

Home is approximately 230 lawyers, they host a number of domestic and international clients which has been built on strong, long-lasting relationships, enabling them to compete within the top 100 rankings.

The Role

This highly regarded team is seeking to recruit a paralegal to sit within the projects, property, procurement, and development lawyers department. You can expect to be working on matters involving the Housing Associations and Private Developers.  

The firm requires a paralegal with strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and who is able to manage their own caseload. This is a demanding role that will require flexibility and the ability to successfully prioritise competing demands. Whilst property experience is essential, the firm would look to give, where required, the successful candidate the training support needed to progress.

Your work will be across a variety of matters, and include: street property acquisition and sales; lease extensions both statutory and voluntary (landlord and tenant); undertaking land registration formalities; completion of SDLT (Stamp Duty Land Tax) returns; reports on title;  undertaking as well as assisting fee earners with residential conveyancing processes; proofing documents and information; assisting with deeds of easements and sectional agreements; managing own caseload and assisting solicitors and other fee earners in the day to day administration of files; dealing with enquiries and chasing paperwork where necessary; providing clients with monthly invoices and progress reports as and when required; efficiently managing a large number of deadlines relating to a variety of cases at any one time.

You

To be considered for this role you will ideally have a 2:1 degree AND have ideally completed or be studying the LPC. As this is a client facing role, excellent professional telephone and communication skills are required.
