THE ROLE

Set within the London office of the firm's impressive and highly regarded Information Technology, Privacy and Data Security team, this role will involve advising on complex issues that arise from the processing, monetisation and protection of personal data.

The London team specialises in data protection, technology and large, complex IT and business process outsourcing transactions.

They advise on application development and management; software and content licensing; apps and smart technology; e-commerce, including hosting and content management; cloud computing and systems integration and social media.

In addition, they advise on business process outsourcing transactions including human resources, finance and accounting, manufacturing and facilities management.

Their advice covers not only European, but also worldwide data protection laws, specialising in uses of data through technology innovation and development.

This is a fixed term contract and requires a fast start. .

ABOUT YOU

A senior associate with experience in information technology, privacy and data security, gained in house, in private practice or both.

From a well-regarded technology stable, and with strong international experience, you will be able to demonstrate a high degree of commercial awareness and have the ability and desire to mentor other members of the team.
