Exciting opportunity for a locum Commercial Lawyer to join a University. Potential temp to perm job.

Your new company
This London University are seeking a temporary Commercial Lawyer to join them on a long term interim assignment with the possibility of converting to a permanent contract.

Your new role
You will report to the Head of Legal Services, advising on a wide range of commercial contracts and procurement matters. Demonstrating excellent drafting and negotiating skills, you will play a critical role in the University's transactional business and supporting academics in a range of research and partnership initiatives. Although the role primarily focuses on commercial contracts, there will be regular opportunities to expand your remit, contributing legal advice on issues including employment, student complaints, property, data protection and freedom of information.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered, we would expect the successful candidate to have attained a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience, with significant commercial contracts experience. You should be a qualified Solicitor in England and Wales and be capable of quickly adapting to fast paced and commercial environments.
