You will be:
- Providing admin and casework support to the children and education team
- Assisting with cases of adoption, child protection, SEN appeals etc.
- Bundling, preparing documentation for court and keeping these updated.
- Drafting letters, instructions etc.
- Attending court.
- Lodging applications.
- Attending meetings with counsel, clients and experts.
You should have:
- A 2.1 LLB law degree (or GDL)
- LPC desirable
- Excellent organisation and time management skills (previous administrative experience will be advantageous)
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Previous paralegal experience desirable
- Previous family or education law experience desirable (e.g. through paralegalling, work experience or degree/ LPC modules).
