One of the leading US law firms is looking to hire a new Graduate Recruitment Officer on a temporary basis to assist with the upcoming busy recruitment period. Graduate Recruitment duties will include coordinating and attending a number of law fairs country wide, managing the graduate recruitment selection process to include shortlisting of CVs, interview arrangements, interview arrangements, offers and scheduling programme for participants, planning and managing the graduate recruitment marketing strategy, liaising with the design team to produce graduate recruitment brochure, managing the CV database including updating profile and application forms and running reports. Trainee Solicitors HR duties will include pastoral care of future and current Trainee Solicitors, co-ordinate attendance and funding of GDL/LPC courses, oversee the organisation of future trainee events, manage the bi-annual seat move process to include confirming seats with the practice groups, meeting all trainees to discuss seat preferences, allocating seats and communicating as appropriate, manage the administration of end of seat and mid-seat appraisals, liaise with PSL to ensure trainees are receiving the necessary training, play a lead role in the qualification process to include confirming vacancies, collating applications, arranging interviews and facilitating the wash-up session to agree offers and ensure compliance with SRA guidelines. Candidates must have a minimum 2 years graduate recruitment experience from within a law firm.
