Highly successful practice in Hampshire seeks Housing Lawyer, ideally with publicly funded experience.

The Role
We are now actively seeking a talented Housing Lawyer for a busy team based in Southampton. Managing a busy and complex caseload, the successful Lawyer will advise on and represent clients in areas to include: possession proceedings; landlord and tenant disputes; disrepair claims; unlawful eviction; ASBOs and; rent arrears. Previous experience in publicly funded housing matters is highly desirable but is not a pre-requisite for this position.
Keen to play an active role in the continued development of the practice, the successful Lawyer will build and sustain client relationships and participate in initiatives to generate referrals. The Candidate
You must be a Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE gained within Housing;
You will have outstanding communication skills and a client-focused approach;
Previous experience of publicly funded matters is highly desirable but not essential;
You will be highly organised, able to meet tight deadlines;
You will work well as part of a team as well as on your own initiative;
You will be adept at conducting negotiations;
You shall have a desire for professional development.
