An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Property Solicitor with a well-established London firm in their Canterbury, Kent office. This firm have a rich heritage spanning over 35 years, they are a boutique City firm that deal with a stand-out client base. They can offer very good prospects as they enter a period of growth.

The firm

Based in the Canterbury, Kent, this firm has an excellent reputation in the market. They stand at 40 members of staff firm wide. They are very well known for insolvency work but are multi-service. They have recently moved into a new office and have room to grow. They are a friendly, dynamic and forward-thinking practice. They have a very good client base and pride themselves on adding real value to client's transactions. They have an excellent staff retention rate with most staff having been at the firm for double-digit years. You will find a strong leadership team, the firm nurtures talent and develops its staff.

The practice is currently busy, and they are looking to make a number of hires across different departments

The role

You will work on a varied Commercial Property workload, including HNW matters. They have a small niche practice and provide an excellent service to clients. You will work on acquisition, disposal and letting of all types of commercial property including office and retail premises, industrial units and restaurants. You will also advise on all landlord and tenant matters including the grant, renewal, rent review, licences and surrender of leases. The team also advise on appropriate corporate structures and funding arrangements through their offshore contacts.

Requirements

• You will be a Commercial Property Solicitor with at least 5 years PQE
• You will be confident managing your own caseload and have experience of HNW matters
• You will be strong in business development and have a keen interest in growing the department in the area
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong lasting relationships
• There are excellent prospects of progression with this role
• Salary is negotiable depending on experience and excellent benefits
