NQ Legal Counsel (12 month FTC)

A leading UK based personal insurer is seeking an NQ Legal Counsel to join the team on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave. The position is based at their head office in Surrey, easily accessible by public transport from Central London.

In this varied role supporting all UK business units, you will be responsible for:

- reviewing and drafting commercial contracts including NDAs, standard terms, outsourcing, procurement and supplier agreements

- advising on IP and data protection matters

- supporting the HR team with employment law advice

- liasing regular with stakeholders across the wider business.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will be a newly qualified lawyer with training recieved in a reputable firm or in-house environment. Completed seats in commercial, employment and corporate would be advantageous. The role is initially for 12 months but may offer ongoing opportunties for the right candidate.
