Head of Residential Conveyancing

A great opportunity for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join a well-respected and friendly firm in Liverpool as Head of the Conveyancing Department.

As Head of Conveyancing you will be leading and managing a team of around 8-10 fee earners and support staff as well as running a reduced caseload within the full remit of residential matters with the support of an experienced assistant.

The Residential Conveyancing team deals with a full range of residential property transactions including buying and selling, freehold and leasehold, new builds, transfers of equity, shared ownership and re-mortgages.

The role will be best suited to a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor with around 5 plus PQE (or equivalent)* who has experience in supervising others and is ready to step into a management role or already in a Head of Department position. The department has strong work streams already established but an interest in networking and client generation is also a positive.
