Systems Engineer

Exciting new opportunity to join the London office of a growing US law firm as a Systems Engineer. Reporting into the IT Manager for London & Europe, the Systems Engineer will coordinate system development tasks and complete actions in system specifications and technical requirements.

Key responsibilities for the Systems Engineer will include:

• Provide onsite support for LAN/WAN infrastructure
• Provide onsite support for all systems including SQL Server, Windows Server, Exchange, VMware ESX host and Communication links
• Evaluate and recommend tools to support the LAN/WAN environment
• Recommend, implement and enforce network security procedures
• Perform audits of systems and software
• Draft and maintain LAN/WAN documentation and processes

The ideal candidate for this Systems Engineer position will have solid relevant experience within a Networking Infrastructure/Project Management environment, preferably in a Law firm. You must have excellent project management and time management skills, and be highly detail orientated. You will be a logical thinker and problem solver, with the ability to work in a demanding environment to tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills are required, along with a professional, enthusiastic and flexible approach.
