Senior Counsel - Global IP, Brand & Marketing

A new opportunity has arisen for a mid-senior level IP, Brand & Marketing Lawyer to join a well-known and highly regarded bank on a contract basis to cover a period of maternity leave.

In this varied role you will be responsible for:

- coordinating and implementing all IP and brand related activities across the global marketing function

- assisting in the delivery of the global marketing strategy including management of data and IP portfolio

- management of external counsel and outsourced providers delivering brand protection, trademark and other legal services

- providing support and advice to the business on brand protection and portfolio management

- promoting best practice compliance relating to brand and IP protection enforcement

To be considered for this role you will ideally be 4+ years PQE as a guide, trained at a reputable firm coupled with experience either in-house or private practice in a similar role. You will have a confident and pragmatic approach in addtion to having the ability to work successfully in a global team based environment.
