Our client is looking to further develop the derivatives team by taking on two solicitors; one at junior to mid-level, and another at a higher / senior level who will perhaps have longer term aspirations of taking a leading/managing role. With prospects being excellent, the more senior role will appeal to an ambitious City lawyer with the desire to carve out their own practice area.
Candidates will have experience working in a private practice or in-house environment and be England & Wales qualified. Essential requirements include solid drafting skills and strong experience of reviewing and negotiating ISDA Master Agreements, Prime Brokerage Agreements, Master Give-Up Agreements, Futures Agreements (both industry and house standard) and associated security documentation.
The firm has an excellent international footprint and is one of the world leaders in structured finance and financial services. The role will report to two UK qualified partners with general expertise in financial services to include wholesale and retail markets, regulation and compliance as well as derivatives and trading documentations. There is a need to further develop a specialist team to work on derivatives and other structured products.
