Family Solicitor required in Blackburn within a Lexcel accredited firm.

The role
The Successful Solicitor will be joining a well-regarded firm and busy departments in Blackburn. With some supervisory experience, your matters will include: domestic abuse; ancillary relief; child arrangements; divorce including (Khula); separation; cohabitation disputes; adoption; drafting and reviewing pre and post nuptial agreements and; financial matters. Prioritising workload, the successful Family Solicitor will be able to communicate in a clear and concise manner and keep up to date with current legislation.
In addition, you will actively participate in the firm’s Corporate Social Responsibility as well as achieving billing targets. Regular participating in the business development and networking of the firm is highly advantageous. The role is offered on a full or part time permanent basis.

The candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of three years PQE;
You must have solid background in general Family Law;
Experience in Islamic Divorce (Khula) is advantageous;
You will have excellent client care skills;
You will be able to handle a diverse caseload to meet tight deadlines;
Ability to supervise and train junior staff is desirable;
You will be empathetic with good organisational skills.
