Commercial IP/IT Solicitor 2 PQE+ Newcastle upon Tyne. Mid level opportunity available for an ambitious Commercial IP/IT Solicitor with a minimum 2 years' PQE+ looking to join the Newcastle office of a national Top 40 law firm renowned for it's high calibre work and commitment to career progression.
 
My client boasts one of the largest national Commercial Technology teams offering the full breadth of commercial, IT, IP, data protection and competition law.
 
The role has arisen due to an ever expanding FTSE 250 client base incorporating heavyweight organisations across a range of sectors, to include pharmaceutical, chemicals, telecoms, retail and financial institutions.
 
As an experienced Commercial IP/IT Solicitor, you will work as part of a supportive team advising on a wide range of commercial matters e.g. commercial contracts, software licensing, negotiating outsourcing deals, internet and ecommerce and data protection.
 
You will have a minimum two years' commercial contracts experience gained within a leading City or regional law firm or in-house, coupled with an excellent academic record. Experience of IT and outsourcing work would be advantageous, but not essential.
 
In addition, you will possess an outstanding commercial acumen, coupled with the tenacity and drive to make your mark within this highly acclaimed premier firm.
