My client a Global Asset Manager with $900 billion AUM is presently looking to recruit a new Senior Legal Counsel in the UK.
Reporting to the CPO in the US the Senior Legal Counsel will be responsible for providing legal advice and counsel regarding privacy and data protection matters on a global basis. This position will also provide support to other legal teams, including the IP & Vendor Contracts team, with reviewing, drafting and negotiating privacy / data protection terms in a variety of contracts and legal documents for compliance with applicable laws and the firm's practices and standards.
This position requires in-depth knowledge of the privacy / data protection laws of the US and/or EU. Knowledge of the privacy / data protection laws of APAC countries is a plus, but not required.
