Chadwick Nott have been instructed to find an experienced Costs Draftsman on behalf of a leading Top 50 National Law Firm based in their central London office. Salary is negotiable and will be to £50K
The role will involve (although is not limited to) drafting Formal Bills and Budgets, negotiating Formal Bills and preparing replies to Points of Disputes. The work will include both fast and multi track files and will be a mix of clinical negligence and personal injury in the main.
Applications are invited from candidates with upwards of 12 months experience within a role that has involved drafting, negotiation, cost budgeting and some advocacy (CMCs and Detailed Assessment Hearings). You could be coming from a specialist Costs company or another in-house role within Private Practice.
