Our client (a leading consultancy) is looking for a qualified non-contentious Construction & Engineering Solicitor to join their In House team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding part of the business where you will play a key role; acting as a direct point of contact to the business in relation to predominantly non-contentious matters.
This role will offer the scope to work closely with key figures in the business who will look to you for sound commercial and legal advice. Some key areas will include.
- Reviewing and negotiating contracts. Providing advice and support at all stages, including variations and contract claims.
- Acting as direct point of contact to the business on a range of legal matters.
- Reviewing and negotiation of supplier agreements, warranties, JV arrangements and bidding arrangements.
- Supporting the business with contracts and interpreting and advising on existing contracts and issues prior to formal dispute resolution.
- Working on JV's, acquisitions and disposals.
We are looking for 1-3 years post qualified experience in non contentious construction and engineering matters.
