An opportunity has arisen at a full service and well established Law firm in North Manchester for a junior fee earner to join their busy family department.

As a Family Solicitor or paralegal you will be responsible for running and assisting on a varied caseload, subject to supervision when required. Our client handle a range of family matters on behalf of local clients including legal aid matters (care, domestic violence etc) and private paying matters such as divorce and ancillary relief.

The ideal applicant will have already gained good experience within family matters and be able to run some matters by themselves, subject to support where needed. It is essential that you have had experience of legal aid family matters and are familiar with the CCMS system. Ideally you will have gained some exposure to care matters as well. Experience within divorce and finances is desirable but not a requirement as training can be provided.

Our client is open to considering applicants who are looking for a role on a 4 day a week basis or with a need to start slightly later/earlier, as well as full time applicants.
