We are currently sourcing a senior commercial lawyer to take up the position of Head of Legal UK for a client that operates within the media sector in London.
 
This is a sole UK role, reporting into the General Counsel in Europe, and carries significant senior management exposure in the UK.
 
Handling a range of commercial contracts, this role will be highly visible and varied, and will include:

• Working on tender and bid processes with the Sales team
• Providing advice on and transacting technology contracts, commercial agreements, media agreements, and other specialist agreements 
• Dealing with company secretarial matters
• Operating as Compliance Officer
• Managing legal budget and the relationship with outside counsel
• Handling adhoc queries from the business and managing contentious issues.

This Head of Legal role would ideally suit a UK qualified solicitor with at least 7 years' PQE, with strong private practice training and subsequent experience in-house. Candidates should be confident at building solid relationships internally and externally, and be and happy to take autonomous charge of their work.
 
The offices are centrally located in London.
