In-house Lawyer

Our client is looking for a 4-8 PQE lawyer to join their international Commodities Markets group (although candidates with greater or lesser experience will also be considered).  The role is based in Singapore.

The international Commodities Markets group provides clients with an integrated, end-to-end offering across international markets including equities, fixed income, foreign exchange and commodities. The team of dedicated lawyers to the business support the group’s various business activities. With expansion of the business, our client is seeking a talented legal professional to join their Singapore-based business to focus on commodity, maritime and trade finance transactions for the various Commodities desks. 

In this role, specifically, you will advise on freight, physical oil, rubber, coal, agricultural and other commodities trading contracts and regulation, trade finance and structured financing transactions.  You will also provide high level general advice to the international commodity and structured markets desks. The role offers diversity and challenge and to be exposed to cutting edge management of transactions as well as see you working closely with senior stakeholders across a number of our client’s offices.
