The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Contentious Probate Solicitor to join our clients’ thriving practice in the Newbury area. As part of a wider team, the successful Solicitor with handle a demanding caseload encompassing all aspects of litigated private client matters. The caseload will incorporate: Inheritance Act claims; contested wills; probate issues and; provisions for dependants. The ideal Solicitor will also build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and external professionals; assisting with business development activities for the department and firm as a whole.

The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE gained within a well-regarded Contentious Probate department.
You must have excellent technical and client care skills.
You will be a confident advocate with excellent negotiation skills.
An aptitude for business development would be highly advantageous.
You will be pro-active, driven and client-focused.
