My client is a legal 100 law firm looking to appoint an experienced Company Secretary to work in their corporate and commercial group.
 
In this London based role you will be providing a company secretarial service to clients on a full range of matters and as Company Secretary your responsibilities will include:

• filing forms with Companies House and ensuring clients are compliant with their statutory filing obligations
• updating and maintaining statutory registers on Blueprint and where required, physical statutory books
• advising and updating Articles of Association
• demonstrating a sound understanding of the Companies Act 2006, Listing Rules and AiM rules for listed companies,
• assisting partners with providing high quality legal services to clients on a broad range of company secretarial work
• complying with the company’s internal regulations and legislation, maintaining records; providing administrative support for the board and general meetings including filing appropriate forms at Companies House
• keeping abreast of all professional developments in own area of work and undertaking such training as is required
• project based work
• ensuring personal time recording and billing targets are achieved

 
To be considered for this London based role, you will have:

• 12 months experience in a similar role
• experience dealing with public and private limited companies with a key focus on companies listed on the main market, Aim and NEX
• experience attending board and committee meetings and drafting minutes
• experience in AGM procedures for PLCs
• good practical knowledge of the Companies Act 2006
• good practical knowledge of corporate governance
