An exciting locum opportunity has arisen within a West Midlands based Local Authority who currently require Principal Childcare Legal Assistant to join their in-house team Childcare Team
The successful candidate will have previous family or childcare experience and have preferably studied to degree level or have successfully completed the ILEX qualification, however candidates that are able to demonstrate the relevant experience will also be considered. In addition, you will be able to work towards tight deadlines and contribute towards the success of the team.
Duties will include:
*Assisting solicitors with their caseload
*Drafting and preparing legal documents
*Undertaking general administrative tasks, ie filing, photocopy, scanning, diarising key dates
The Authority is currently recruiting on a three month contract with a strong view to extension. The hours of work are 36 hours over five days a week.
The hourly rate is £14 - £16 per hour to an Umbrella Company.
