Senior Corporate Solicitor

Partner succession option for a Senior Corporate Solicitor.

A respected leading boutique corporate and commercial law firm based in north northamptonshire is looking for a Senior Corporate Solicitor to take up a leading role within their corporate law team. This particular role would suit lawyers who are looking for partnership and a genuinely leading salary with the chance to work towards equity. The role would suit slawyers from Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Leicestershire, Nottingham.  

The firm is very successful in winning good value local work from throughout the region specialising in family run and owner managed businesses from a value of £5m to £20m.

The firm is agile, progressive and a leading contender in the Northamptonshire corporate environment which has contributed to it's continued financial success year on year. 

The role will require the candidate with a minimum of 6 years' PQE to assist with caseloads, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate advice and shareholder issues, corporate reorganisations and restructuring, as well as more general commercial work.  

The ideal corporate candidate will be expected to have direct exposure to the full M and A process, preferably working within the particular market of family run and owner managed businesses within Northamptonshire. You will be expected to have had exposure to joint venture and investment, divestment work as well as general commercial and corporate advisory experience. You will ideally have a proven history of successful BD, and networking. You should be used to winning work and gaining clients with a proven track record of managing long lasting client relationships. 

The firm is very upfront, they are keen to offer an above market rate salary for the right candidate. The firm is able to offer above market rate remuneration due to their efficiency and the high value of work they repeatedly bring into the firm. The particular candidate is on track to gain equity or salaried partnership within a short period of continued success within the firm.
