The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and driven Family Lawyer to join our clients’ flourishing practice in Gloucester. As part of a specialist department, the successful Lawyer will manage a full and varied caseload of privately-funded Family matters from instruction to conclusion, to include advocating at hearings as necessary. The caseload will include: Divorce and financial remedies; cohabitation and civil partnerships; injunctions; Child arrangement orders; adoption and; drafting pre and post-nuptial agreements. The ideal Lawyer will also become actively involved in business development and marketing opportunities, to further the growth and success of the department and firm as a whole.

The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least three years’ PQE gained within a reputable Matrimonial department.
You must have excellent technical skills with expertise across all aspects of privately Family and Children work.
Excellent client care and negotiation skills are essential for the position.
You will be IT literate, ideally with prior experience using case management systems.
You will be a confident advocate.
An aptitude for business development is desirable.
You will be pro-active, flexible and commercially aware.
