Environmental, Social and Governance Lawyer / Investment Management

Our client a boutique investment manager with a focus on investments into emerging markets is looking to appoint an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) specialist within the business.

The role will involve:

• Providing guidance and presenting analysis on the ESG risks and opportunities that impact their investments
• Develop and expand the existing Environmental, Social and Governance policy and carry out due diligence checks to ensure that the relevant ESG policy is being adhered to
• Working collaboratively with the investment teams, providing input on ESG related issues into their investment research processes
• Engaging with organisations within relevant sectors on topics pertaining to ESG

The successful candidate;

• Qualified lawyer, Compliance Professional or Environmental, Social and Governance  ESG / Corporate Governance Analyst
• Asset management experience desirable, NGO or other related organisations would be considered
• Demonstrable understanding of ESG pertaining to investments, both risks and opportunities and how they impact is essential
