Family Law Costs - ALCD Support - Great Benefits

This highly respected law costs firm based in Chester are looking to appoint a Law Costs Draftsman to deal with a caseload family law costs matters.

This opportunity is for a Law Costs Draftsman with at least 2 years' experience of dealing with family law / legal aid matters to carry their own caseload and deal with complex bills. There will be a mixture of private paying & legal aid work in place, so the ideal candidate will have experience of dealing with both bills.

You will be working in a small team as part of a wider civil department however there may also be further opportunities to deal with commercial costs matters. You must have experience of negotiation, drafting, dealing with points of dispute and costs budgeting however you will be provided with further training opportunities to bring your skills up to speed.

This actively support your development and pay for enrolment onto the ACL until you qualify as a Costs Lawyer. On top of that you will see basic holidays of 25 days, bonus scheme, pension and further benefits. Salary for this position is circa £20,000.
