The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially-focused Senior Corporate Commercial Solicitor to join our clients’ well-regarded practice in Peterborough. As part of a highly specialised team, the successful Solicitor will enjoy a diverse caseload encompassing all aspects of non-contentious commercial work, servicing all types of clients from locally-based SMEs to national and international corporations. Matters may include: company formations; corporate governance; drafting and negotiating agreements and contracts; M&A; joint ventures and; partnerships. The ideal Solicitor will also play a key role in building relationships with clients; devising and implementing business development strategies to enhance the growth and development of the department.

The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor with 10 years’ plus PQE gained within a well-regarded Corporate/Commercial department.
You must have first class technical skills with broad-ranging expertise.
A proven track record of successful involvement in business development activities and excellent client care skills are essential for the position.
You will be a flexible team player.
You will be IT literate.
You will be driven, personable and display meticulous attention to detail.
