Conflicts Analyst

A global law firm based in Glasgow currently seeking a Conflicts Analyst to join their team. You will be supporting the Global Head of Conflicts and Senior Conflicts Lawyer in ensuring effective compliance controls and procedures are in place particularly those involving the avoidance of conflicts of interest and protection of confidential information, and to ensure compliance with applicable legislative requirements and management of risk.

Responsibilities Include:

• Handle conflicts of interest matters
• Handle high volume conflict searches
• Handle low to medium complexity protection of confidential information issues
• Involved in leading commercial clearances across the offices
• Review and adhere to the internal compliance policies and procedures.

Essential Skills Include:

• Relevant experience preferably acquired in an international law firm, although other professional services or financial services firms will be considered
• Prior experience analysing and resolving conflicts of interest and managing confidential information issues would be desirable
• An understanding of Elite and the billing processes, including a familiarity to use Elite to generate reports for the Conflict of Interest Checking Process and check client information for the Client Due Diligence and Matter Opening processes is desirable.
